My Drugstore Essentials!

So the great thing about the beauty industry is that you don't have to break the bank to get the look you want to achieve. My Drugstore Essentials list hits on just a few of my favorite things that I have used for years and will always restock in until they are discontinued because they are drugstore gems!

1. L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup- $10.99 at CVS

Color I use: Warm

I love, love LOVE using this as my everyday liquid foundation. I prefer using this as my drugstore buy when I'm looking for something affordable, that I can wear every single day. When I say that this stuff works, I MEAN IT. The formula is super smooth, you don't need a ton of it to get great coverage on your face, and it is actually super blendable with all the other stuff I tend to pack on my face. Below, I put this foundation on with no concealer and my dark circles have practically vanished. It's afforable, comes in 22 different colors to match a variety of skin tones, and it looks absolutely amazing once it hits your face.

2. Revlon Colorstay Makeup Combination/Oily- $14.29 at CVS

Color I use: Warm Golden

There are a couple of great things about this liquid foundation. First, it lasts 24 hours. And I mean I've put it on at 6am for work, went home, ate dinner, went out for drinks with friends, had maybe one too many drinks with friends, and woken up the next day with perfectly flawless skin (don't try this at home). Second, it has SPF 15 in it. As much as people want to think that the sun is their friend, it's not. Sunscreen can save lives, and anything that has SPF in it is A-1 in my book. Third, this foundation is made for combination/oily skin. What exactly does that mean? That means that if you have straight up oily skin, break outs, dry patches, or a combination of all that (ME) then this is the perfect full-coverage foundation for you. It lasts forever, has a banging price point, and leaves your skin looking flawless. Try it, you can thank me later.

3. Revlon Colorstay Eye Liner- $8.99 at CVS

Color I Use: Black

You really can't beat this one. It's a true jet black eyeliner, it stays on all day, and it's under $10. Do I even need to say anything else? I use this above all else. Not even as a drugstore favorite, but just in general this is my #1 favorite black eyeliner. I used this in 8th grade and I'll probably use this when I'm eighty years old. It's that classic.

4. Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen- $8.99 at CVS

Color I Use: Blackest/Black

This liquid eyeliner gives me a perfect cat eye every. damn. time. I can't really express to you over text how easy to use, and smooth this guy is, but I can definitely show you.

5. Physician's Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls

Colors I Use: Biege Pearl & Bronze Pearl

I started using this brand as a highlighter way before I tried Benefit, before I heard about Anastasia Beverly Hills, and even before I used Becca. This is one of my favorite highlighters, and if you know me I LOVE ADDING HIGHLIGHT TO MY FACE. It's that serious. The first color formula I ever tried, Translucent Pearl, makes your skin look like the silvery celestial skin of an angel. Since running out of that color, I have branched out to more warmer colors like Biege Pearl and Bronze Pearl. My favorite part about this highlighter is that it not only highlights, but if you're running low on time, it also doubles as a light bronzer (see below). If you happen to like a more silvery highlight instead of a gold one, then Translucent Pearl can double as a highlight/blush combo too.

6. Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying Cleanser, 13.5 OZ- $8.99 at CVS

So to top everything off, you've got to have a great makeup remover, right? I love using this makeup remover because it effectively takes off all my makeup from the day, and it leaves my skin feeling clean. You know how some makeup removers leave your skin with that oily residue? This stuff is actually mattifying, which means that if you have oily skin, this makeup remover can help minimize that oily effect. This cleansing water is extremely gentle to the skin, which is great because you never want to intensely tug or pull at the skin on your face to get your makeup off (that creates wrinkles). The best part about the whole deal is that you get a huge bottle of it for only nine bucks.

The Final Look:

So below is a combo of some of the products listed above (The L'Oreal liquid foundation, the Revlon liquid eye liner, and the Physician's formula highlight). That's a wrap on some of my favorite drugstore products! Hope you guys enjoyed, and as always if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or poetry please feel free to post below!
