The Once T-Shirt Queen

The Once T-Shirt Queen

I finally went thrifting recently with my mentor thrifter of Winston-Salem, Kaitlyn Rose. Her style is minimalistic, but not monochromatic; cohesive and one-of-a-kind. My clothes range from hoarder status, never worn, and sentimental to logical. See why she's my mentor? New goal for fall - fall out of love with keeping EVERYTHING. I have ten black t-shirts that I've saved from high school alone. Those "band" t's though were my world, collector's items, and irreplaceable moments in my personal growth. They include Rancid, Ramones, Days Off Screen (dare you to google it 1), The Bombhouse (dare you to google it 2), The All-American Rejects, Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, AFI, and ... so on. There's a reason my mother once crowned me the T-Shirt Queen.

This fall I'm replacing a few of my thrifted plaids from this time last year for my new shirts, similar to this one striped shirt. Summer has made me re-learn my appreciation for anything light and loose. It'll be good for layering and great while mother nature keeps the heat on. So for now I'm pairing it with my French Connection shorts that are still going strong over a year later. That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.

The prices vary a bit, but there are few out there - satin black and white striped button down.

Much Love,
